Happy Pisces Full Moon! The Virgo/Pisces axis is considered one of the most challenging and karmic axes in astrology, next to Saturn/Capricorn signatures. People with planets in Virgo/Pisces signs, or associated houses 6/12, have their work cut out for them. They deal with addictions, illusions/delusions, mental/emotional disorders, lack of confidence, lack of acknowledgement, lack of motivation or overwork, health issues, sensitivities, and carry the weight of lifetimes of karmic debt upon them. Suffering is often associated with Pisces; their thin boundaries allow them access to the emotional turmoil of the entire planet, the people, the plants, the animals, and timelines beyond the present. Didn’t mean to start this write-up out on such a somber tone, but this is the struggle and pain of collective field right now. It’s doubled up with the Full Moon Conjunct Neptune and the addition of 4 planets (soon to be 2) in Virgo.

Our unconscious is surfacing during this Full Moon, with a strong urge to deal with the emotional fallout of situations that we may be avoiding. If we don’t have the tools to deal with the emotional content, we may find ourself in denial or exhibiting addictive behaviors. The pain and grief of what’s arising is our teacher and our way out of unhealthy patterns. We may get clear about the projections or illusions we had about a person or situation, and be faced with disappointment, hopelessness, and frustration. Whatever or whoever we are pointing at and blaming, we need to look in the mirror and see how we’ve contributed to our current situations. Perhaps more than we’d like to admit.

The polarity of Virgo/Pisces is about balancing order (Virgo) and chaos (Pisces). From disorganization to organization, we are seeking some kind of stability within the rise and fall of the emotional waves.

I’ve focused a lot on the challenges of this Full Moon, because the reality is that this isn’t an easy one. The beauty of it is that we have the potential to heal considerable amounts of baggage because our emotions are so accessible.
